Nature: The Next Frontier for Capital Markets Thumbnail Image

About the event

In the build up to the UN Biodiversity Conference (COP15), join AFME and EY for our forthcoming webinar in which we will examine how finance can support the preservation and restoration of nature, addressing the USD598-824 billion p.a. biodiversity finance gap.

This webinar will take place 30 November 2022 15:00-16:00 GMT / 16:00-17:00 CET

The event coincides with the launch of the AFME and EY report “Into the Wild: why nature may be the frontier for capital markets”.

The webinar will explore natural capital finance through a practical lens including:

• the case for financing nature;
• the financing opportunities being pursued by AFME members and current challenges with scaling private capital in support of nature-related objectives;
• the evolving regulatory landscape and priorities for advancing this vital area of financing.

Why attend?

  • Hear from our expert speakers on the latest developments in natural capital finance, what we should expect from COP15 and highlight the key role financial institutions can play in bringing funding, innovation and accountability.
