About AFME
The Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) is the voice of Europe’s wholesale financial markets, providing expertise across a broad range of regulatory and capital markets issues. We represent the leading global and European banks and other significant capital market players. AFME’s members are the lead under- writers of 89% of European corporate and sovereign debt, and 75% of European listed equity capital issuances.

Our policy team, based in our London office, collaborates closely with our membership, while our dedicated teams in Brussels and Frankfurt drive our advocacy efforts.

Annual Leave

  • Full-time employees are entitled to 27 days annual leave and as part of the employee benefits' package also receive 1 additional days paid holiday for their birthday.
  • Alongside Bank Holidays, AFME gifts employees 3 discretionary paid days holiday when the office is closed, between Christmas and New Year.
  • AFME choose to reward long service to thank employees for their loyalty, commitment, hard work, and efforts and in their 3-year, 5-year and 10-year anniversaries they are awarded 1-day, 3-days and 5-days additional holiday respectively.

  • We offer private medical insurance, dental insurance, health cash plan, annual health assessment, annual flu/covid inoculations, eye tests and discounted gym memberships.

Hybrid & Work from anywhere policies

  • All employees are required to work from the office 3 days per week.
  • As we are European wide and have a diverse, multinational organisation, after two years of service, employees can work from a location anywhere in the world, for a fortnight each year.

Pension

  • AFME Personal Pension scheme complies with auto-enrolment requirements and is a defined contribution plan. Upon joining the company, new colleagues will be automatically enrolled in the scheme. The company provides a substantial employer pension contribution of 10% of basic salary.
  • We also offer comprehensive life insurance and income protection.

Performance Bonus

  • In recognition of exceptional performance, the company administers an annual discretionary cash bonus of up to 15% for every employee. New team members become eligible to partake in the bonus initiative from their date of joining and, subject to a minimum 3-month length of service, will receive a pro-rata bonus in their first AFME performance year. The disbursement of bonuses is paid after the end of the AFME financial year (31st October).

  • A screening call with our Talent Partner will be arranged
  • A 2-3 stage interview process will then follow with a mixture of virtual and in person discussions
