Alex Maddox is responsible for Capital Markets Execution and Digital Strategy for Kensington.

Alex joined the business in August 2012 and prior to that was Head of European Residential Mortgage Trading at Deutsche Bank and was on the board of DB UK Bank and had responsibility for the DB mortgages platform in Chester.

Previously, he was the Head of European Securitised Products for Citadel hedge fund. Prior to that Alex spent nearly 14 years in investment banking, starting as a derivatives trader and finishing as Head of Securitised Products Trading.

Working partner at Prytania Investment Advisors LLP, a London based specialist asset management firm which offers a range of actively managed structured credit funds with differing risk : return and liquidity profiles to institutional investors, HNW individuals, Family Offices and Pension Funds.

Andrew South is a Managing Director leading Structured Finance research coverage for the EMEA region at S&P Global Ratings.

Since joining S&P Global Ratings in 2003, Andy has led research and project work across all structured finance asset classes, including responses to public policy consultations and research on ratings performance.

Andy holds a Master's degree in Engineering and a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics from St. John's College, University of Cambridge, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD.

Anna Bak is a Associate Director, Securitisation Division at The Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) where she is leading AFME work stream on Green Securitisation and application of the ESG principles to securitisation. Anna is also responsible for developing positions on a wide variety of other securitisation related topics.

Anna joined AFME in February 2014 to work at the Securitisation Division. She is involved in negotiating industry standpoints on many critical regulatory initiatives, including calibration of the capital and liquidity rules, Solvency 2 rules, derivatives and transparency requirements as well as establishing “simple transparent and standardised securitisation” under the European securitisation framework.

Earlier in her career Anna was a transaction lawyer in Amsterdam. Previously, she worked at TMF Group and later at Citco where she spent 6 years working on variety of ABS transactions, including RMBS, SME and auto-loans structures. Anna holds an LL.M degree from the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands) with specialisation in European Law and a Master of Law degree from the University of Lodz (Poland).

Giorgio Botta is a Senior Associate on Sustainable Finance at the Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME), where he represents leading global and European banks and other significant capital market players.
The purpose of his work on ESG policy and advocacy is to enable banks’ role in financing the transition towards a sustainable economy.

Previously, Giorgio was a regulatory policy advisor at EFAMA, the voice of the European asset management industry, where he notably worked on sustainability disclosures, corporate governance, and stewardship issues. He has experience in SMEs policy, portfolio management and trading of energy commodities. Giorgio holds an International Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Bologna and a postgraduate degree in Economic Diplomacy and International Business from the Free University of Brussels.

As Commercial Head of EMEA Structured Finance, Matt is responsible for Commercial Strategy and client relationships across all Securitization and Covered Bond markets in the region.

Prior to his current role, Matt was Analytical Head of the Structured Credit group, with responsibility for ratings of cash and synthetic CLO, CDO, Structured Credit and SME transactions across EMEA. Previously, Matt was also Head of the ABS group, with responsibility for ratings across consumer and commercial asset classes.

Prior to joining S&P Global Ratings, Matt worked at HBOS for nine years, where he worked in a number of senior analytical and leadership roles in Treasury ALM and Credit Risk functions.

Matt Mitchell is a Director in the structured finance group at S&P Global Ratings, based in London. He is responsible for the assignment and surveillance of credit ratings across EMEA, and is leading the team covering environmental, social, and governance factors in structured finance.

Since joining S&P Global Ratings in 2011, Matt has worked across a variety of asset classes globally, including credit cards, consumer loans, auto loans and leases, trade receivables, and residential mortgages. Prior to joining S&P Global Ratings, Matt worked as a securitisation analyst in Toronto, where he covered asset-backed commercial paper, structured credit, and covered bonds.

Matt holds an undergraduate (HBA) in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a CFA charterholder.

Mira Lamriben joined the EBA in January 2014 where she worked as an economist in Impact Analysis and as a policy expert in Own Funds regulation. She is now part of the Capital Market Union team where she is involved in the implementation of the EU Securitisation Regulation (including EBA work on Significant Risk Transfer and STS securitisations) and in the monitoring of the development of green bonds and sustainable securitisations.

Before joining the EBA, Mira worked as an economist at the Banque de France in banking and risk analysis. She delivered several studies of the EU and the French banking sectors and had a specific focus on liquidity risk.

Mira holds a Master degree in Public Affairs and Economics from the Paris Institute of Political Studies and a Master degree of Laws from the University of Paris.

Nicolas Cabrera is an Associate Director in the Structured Finance team, based in S&P Global Rating’s Madrid office. He is one of the primary analysts in the EMEA group and responsible for the assignment and surveillance of credit ratings.

Since joining the Structured Finance group in 2016, he has been involved in the rating and surveillance of structured transactions in asset classes such as ABS (Credit Cards, Auto and Consumer Loans) and RMBS in most of the European jurisdictions.

Before joining the Structured Finance team in 2016, he worked in the finance Team at Nokia. Nicolas holds two degrees in Business Administration and Law f rom the University of Alcala in Madrid. He is also a CFA charter holder. He speaks both Spanish and English fluently.

Richard is Head of Fixed Income and a managing director in the Securitisation Division. He joined AFME in June 2010 after a 25-year career in the law and finance during which he held leadership positions at J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Société Générale. He has originated, structured and distributed securitisations funding the real economy through a wide variety of asset classes including mortgages, credit cards, auto, consumer and SME loans, from across Europe, Australia and the US.

Richard has led and negotiated industry positions on many critical regulatory initiatives in recent years, including most recently the new standard for “simple transparent and standardised securitisation” in Europe. A frequent visitor to Brussels, he has helped rehabilitate the securitisation industry in the eyes of key European policymakers and continues to be a strong advocate for the benefits of securitisation for the European economy.

Born and brought up in Wales, Richard read law at Cambridge University and before his investment banking career qualified as a solicitor with leading international law firm Clifford Chance.

Richard is an expert in sustainable finance and over the last 20 years he has advised various UN bodies, governments, financial intuitions, companies and NGOs on how to integrate ESG, climate change and natural capital analysis into their decision making. Richard was a member of the EU High Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance, providing key recommendations for Europe’s ground-breaking Sustainable Finance Action Plan.

He has led numerous ground-breaking projects including creating the first portfolio carbon risk assessment for Henderson and the UK Environment Agency, launching the first carbon efficient index with S&P Dow Jones Indices, leading the first global assessment of corporate environmental externalities for the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment, and developing the world’s first Environmental Profit and Loss account for PUMA.

Richard is Chair of the Future of Sustainable Data Alliance Data Council, a member of the Global Advisory Council of the Oxford Smith School Stranded Assets Programme, the Scottish Forum on Natural Capital, and the Hong Kong Green Finance Association. He is an Advisory Board Member for IUCN Finance for Nature initiative and the Capitals Coalition. Previously, Richard was a strategy consultant and began his career as a neuroscientist. He holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Edinburgh
and is an honorary Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
