In Europe discussions have been ongoing about expanding Open Banking regimes to other types of financial data, creating Open Finance frameworks.
For AFME and its members, data sharing frameworks should serve to meet clear beneficial use cases that satisfy identifiable market demands. The current EU proposals Open Finance (FiDA) proposals do not meet that requirement, especially with respect to wholesale capital markets.
