For the last six years, AFME, with the support of several partner organisations, has been tracking progress in the expansion and deepening of capital markets across the EU through a set of indicators.

On 9 November 2023, AFME and its partners will publish the 6th edition of our “Capital Markets Union: Key Performance Indicators” report that will discuss how to scale up Europe’s capital markets and examine the state of the CMU project.

This edition also coincides with the 30th anniversary of the Single Market, offering another lens by which to assess the progress made in advancing the development of the EU's capital markets over the past three decades.
As we approach the beginning of a new EU policymaking cycle, the event offers a good opportunity to reflect on the policy actions which can deliver the required transformational results.

The event will feature keynote presentations and a panel conversation with the participation of senior industry representatives.
