The Association for Financial Markets in Europe and the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum are pleased to announce their fourth Annual European Financial Integration Conference in May 2024.

AFME and OMFIF are joining forces again to bring their expertise in European capital markets, financial regulation, and economic and monetary policy for the 4th Annual European Financial Integration Conference.

Taking place in the financial centre of Frankfurt, this conference will bring together leading policy makers and opinion-formers, as well as influential members of the regulatory and business community, for a day of thought-provoking content and discussion.

Set against the backdrop of a persisting political and economic challenges and a crucial phase in the process leading to the EU institutional changeover and definition of the main priorities for the new policy and legislative cycle, this year’s meeting will assess the state of Eurozone financial integration and the role it can play in addressing the key policy challenges. The future shape of the regulatory framework needed for a stronger banking sector, and key policy issues for fostering well-developed, integrated, and competitive capital markets, will be the central focus of the discussions. Key issues will also include the role technological innovation and digitalisation can play in the journey towards greater financial integration.
