The state of CMU – What next for European capital markets? Thumbnail Image

About the event

Wednesday, 28 October, 14:00 – 15:30 BST/15:00 -16:30 CEST

Following the publication of the new Capital Markets Union (CMU) Action Plan at a time of economic crisis, now it is pivotal to take stock of how markets have performed and the next steps to facilitate Europe’s recovery.

AFME, in collaboration with ten other trade associations and international organisations, will be publishing the third edition of its CMU Key Performance Indicators report that provides policymakers, market participants and other stakeholders valuable facts on Europe’s progress in the recent period, including the first half of 2020.

Join us for a public event featuring senior policymakers to discuss the state of Europe’s capital markets and the next steps for the CMU project.

The event will feature the participation of Marcel Haag, Director for Horizontal policies at DG FISMA, European Commission, and other senior industry representatives.
