Global Rates BoardAFME / EPDAAFME / ECBDA

The Global Rates Board was created to monitor developments in policy and market structure that adversely affect the rates markets. The board comprises global or European heads of rates across leading global firms. It will set global strategy and priorities on the broader issues impacting across the spectrum of rates products such as government bonds, agencies, supranationals, government guaranteed bonds, covered bonds, and swaps.

The activities of the European Covered Bond Dealers Association (ECBDA) and the European Primary Dealers Association (EPDA) fall under the auspices of the Rates Division, each maintaining a board of directors to set the agenda for the covered bond and government bond markets, respectively. The Global Rates Board will coordinate representation with these existing boards.
